(Dark Goes When Light Comes)

We have been heard these words often, but we could see one of such who possess and behaves in such way. Nearly 300 years ago “Valotine Huwe” tried to revive the people who are deprived from education and deprived from the cursed of blindness. And then there was a chain of people who worked in this field. In India there were many people or groups of people who worked hard in this field. It is very easy to work in large cities and Govt. also spontaneously takes part in it. But it is very difficult to work in backward areas.

Nandurbar was introduced / separated from Dhule district in 1998. This area is isolated from geographical development and backward people. In this district there are many problems like poverty, illiteracy. In such condition there is a much ratio of handicap children false education, lack of guidance, with all these problems the life of people in such areas is much painful and sorrowful. Mr. Laxmanrao Sadashivrao Marathe, this man comes forward to solve their problems. This man takes the responsibility of such people and established one of the institutes for blind people and this work has completed in last two years. Still there were many ups downs, though this institute has been fulfilled. It is very easy to tell all this but at the same time it was very tough work with such circumstances. This person has not any aim to be famous but the main aim is that to introduce institutions concept, methods of work, and objectives.

This blind hostel has been established with the help of this proverb charity begins at home. The school building has been started nearly from Nandurbar 7 K.M. at Dhamdod, with the space of 10,000 square feet. There are many facilities for boys and girls for stay with bed, cut. Separate kitchen, toilet bathroom, store room, reading room & separate office for official work spacious ground, enough supply of water, water storage, fire fighter pump, strong compound, and there should be temple of Swami Samarth for culture, So as all the types of sports and arts equipments, and educational equipments are taken. On 15 July2006 all trained teachers and employees took a meeting by directions. A process for enrollment of blind students through district , has been prepared, on 20 July 2006 institutions secretary Mr. L axmanrao Sadashiv Marathe took a process through all villages. On 21 July 2006 the dream of Laxmanrao has been realised in truth at Dhamdod.

Long years ago saint Dhyaneshwar asked Pasaydan from Good for development of human beings. Such milestones are rare but Mr. Laxmanrao Sadashiv Marathe is also as same in greatness. He was inspired by a sheer accident with hard work . Though he is being praised every event has back ground . National Blind Association organized a programme for those who work for blind, on 7th Jan to 11 Jan. 2006 at Sanjay Gandhi Town Hall, Nandurbar. There 20th educational blind progress week was organized and celebrated. All the students from blind schools of district participated in that programme . The rector of the Sanjay Town Hall Mr. Laxmanrao Sadashive Marathe participated actively . Many prestigious and Leaders were present for this programme Many people gathered to open such a school for blind in Nandurbar District . All praised the various skills of blind children But Nobody showed any gratitude about my children this thing was noticed by a person from a middleclass family sheer hard worker well determined and ambitions concept took a social, Educational, cultural, Technical institution, various social institutions were established at Dhamdod on 29 march 2006.

Thus a school for blind is opened in Nandurbar district.
